Fibroid is a non-cancerous tumor that grows inside the uterus (womb) as the smooth muscle and fibrous tissues grow and turn into fibroids which are different in size. Some patients have it of a bean size and some may have it of a large melon size. Sometimes the malignant grows inside the womb, but this is not very common.
Causes
Almost all the researchers believe that there are two major causes of this problem;
Its growth is directly linked with the levels of estrogen and progesterone. When these two things increase their levels, fibroids also increase their size, but automatically get decreased when they are decreased.
This disease also spreads through family members like mother to daughter.

2 – Trans-Vaginal Scan
Patient’s vagina is examined closely by entering a small device in it.
3 – Hysteroscopy

4 – Laparoscopy
This device helps the doctor to check the shape and size of fibroids.
5 – Biopsy
Biopsy technique is used to study the lining of uterus under a microscope.
