Vinegar and Salt

To deal with tougher and bigger stains, it is recommended to mix 1/4 cup of vinegar with 1/4 cup of salt. Apply the mixture on the stain, let dry and vacuum up. You can also make a spot cleaner for 1 cup of water and 1 cup of vinegar. Put the mixture in a spray bottle, and shake well before each use. Spray on stains, and immediately dry with a clean towel.

Corn Starch and Milk

You can use corn starch alone to absorb fat or fresh oil on a carpet. Simply cover the place in a thin layer of corn starch, wait at least 30 minutes and suck up. Baking soda

It is also very good for cleaning the stains and it also deodorizes. You simply have to sprinkle the baking soda on the area that needs to be cleaned. Pour the vinegar on the top of the baking soda. The two ingredients will react effervescence. When the foam shuts off, wipe the stain and moisture up. To clean the odors, sprinkle plain baking soda on your carpet, let it sit for an hour or two and vacuum it up to have clean and refreshing carpet.
